The high temperatures this week are running around 100-104. There are not many flowers blooming except zinnias and these naked ladies.

- I feel everyone needs a passion and I am very passionate about my garden. I live on 1.5 acres and spend most of my free time in one of the 6 garden areas in my yard. My hobby is quilting. When the weather is too hot, too cold, too wet or I'm just tired of the yard I quilt. I am a 60ish wife/mother/grandmother, married to my soul mate for 40+ years. I have 2 daughters, 2 granddaughters and 5 cats. I am retired and living the good life in Oklahoma.

They are so pretty and wooo is that some hot. We have actually had a pretty mild summer. Usually we have had a week or more at 105 plus. I'm happy. Love the shoots coming out of the ground.
