This is Dynamite Crape Myrtle and it has just started blooming. The picture does not do it justice. It is a bright red.

This is one of our 2 cats. Her name is Nosey and she has found a little shade under the fire pit....(which I am so looking forward to using this fall).
I have been sewing on several quilt tops but I never seem to take any pictures of them. I am making myself a promise to post a few quilty pictures soon.

Isn't these cooler temperatures great! Love it love it! It was 56 degrees this morning. Getting ready to take my coffee and sit on the front porch!

lovely yard - you must have been doing a bit of watering this summer. I woke up to 64 degrees this morning and the windows are open at least for an hour or two - I know it will get hotter as the day goes by but nice for now.
