- I feel everyone needs a passion and I am very passionate about my garden. I live on 1.5 acres and spend most of my free time in one of the 6 garden areas in my yard. My hobby is quilting. When the weather is too hot, too cold, too wet or I'm just tired of the yard I quilt. I am a 60ish wife/mother/grandmother, married to my soul mate for 40+ years. I have 2 daughters, 2 granddaughters and 5 cats. I am retired and living the good life in Oklahoma.

Beautiful pictures!! Love the color of the daylily and that echinea is so pretty! Hope you are staying cool in all this heat!

What pretty flowers! You must be watering regularly in this "dern" heat! I tried to grow some of those pretty purple coneflowers but no luck. Try to stay cool and have a great week!
